1) What is the principle of BOCA ActiveE technology?

ActiveE technology is an Active Electron ionization technology, that collects invisible moisture in the air and applies high voltage to it to produce trillions of nano-scale active mist ions per second, which wrap around and penetrate harmful particles of viruses and bacteria to render them inactive.

2) How Does ActiveE Work?

A. The ActiveE technology generate nano sized water particles of active atmospheric hydroxyls that assists in eliminating present pathogens.

B. Water particles of size 5-20nm contain large amounts of hydroxyl radicals (OH). Our technology works towards eliminating viruses by stealing hydrogen (H) atoms from viruses, to destroy the virus protein and DNA.

C. Hydroxyl radicals(OH) and Hydrogen(H) combine to form water(H2O), virus now inactive.

3) What are hydroxyl radicals?

Hydroxyl radicals exist in nature, for example in forests.

Radicals are unstable atoms or molecules with unpaired electrons. Since they are highly reactive, they react readily with other atoms or molecules to form stable molecules or ions.

4) How many hydroxyl radicals are generated per second by BOCA device?

Our portable device can generate 805 billion hydroxyl radicals per second, some select model can generate up to 1300 billion hydroxyl radicals per second.

5) Why ActiveE ions lasts longer than general ions and effectively reaches a wider area?

The lifespan of general air ions (negative ions) ranges from in the tens of seconds to 100 seconds. ActiveE have a lifespan of approximately 600 seconds. Enveloped in water, ActiveE have a longer lifespan, which means they can effectively reach a wider area.

6) Can BOCA devices collect PM 2.5?

They cannot collect PM 2.5 particles. However, it can inhibit hazardous substances which are known to be found in PM 2.5.

7) Can BOCA devices reduce the TVOC air pollution in household?  ?

The results of experiments show that our technology is effective in inhibiting formaldehyde, ammonia, benzene and TVOC (Total Volatile Organic Compounds) commonly found in homes.

8) How does the BOCA portable FCDS-01C Smart Light ring work?

The Smart Light ring will change colour based on the air quality. Green being excellent, blue being good, and red being poor.
