The Power of Hydroxyl Radicals, Nature's Own Sanitizer, Harnessed.

What if there was a way to eliminate harmful pathogens, even Covid-19, from the air around us? What if we could remove obnoxious smells and sanitize the surfaces in our homes in a way that is completely harmless and environmentally friendly? What if we could do all of this by marrying the awesome power of nature and cutting edge science? Well we can, by harnessing the incredible power of Hydroxyl Radicals in our own homes.

Nature knows best, but it has often taken us a long time to understand exactly how Mother Nature sustains the environment around us, helping to clean the air that we breathe, eliminate many odors and destroy harmful bacteria and viruses. Thankfully due to ongoing research and the ability of scientists to isolate specific processes, and their place in natural chains of events, we can now replicate and harness the way that this is achieved.

Scientific research has identified that one of the most important species occurring naturally are Hydroxyl Radicals, they are one of the most vital elements in maintaining air quality. A product of UV Rays and moisture, Hydroxyl Radicals attack the chemical make up of odor causing substances and even more importantly eliminate the Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) that are produced from processes inside our homes and in the outside world. While the half-life of Hydroxyl is very short it sets off chain reactions that maintain air quality and continues to destroy dangerous pathogens around us.

During his research into atmospheric chemistry and its effects on the environment, Dutch Nobel Prize winner Paul Crutzen identified Hydroxyl Radicals as vital to maintaining air quality and dubbed them as Nature's Air Sanitizer. Ongoing research into their properties has piqued interest worldwide in harnessing, or replicating, the production of Hydroxyl and using it as a natural disinfectant. As it is the product of a naturally occurring reaction they are completely safe to humans, animals, plants and our surroundings.

Another major source of research into the properties of Hydroxyl Radicals was the Space Agency NASA, who, in 2018 identified that they are the equivalent of Nature's Detergent. They discovered that the molecule itself (OH) seems to have the ability to recycle itself and is vital in combatting the effects of Greenhouse Gasses on the environment, as well as attacking and eliminating dangerous elements including bacteria and other pathogens in the atmosphere. NASA were among the first to work on duplicating the way that Hydroxyl is produced and used their technology to preventing the damaging effects of VOCs and to eliminate harmful bacteria onboard spacecraft.

Over that last few years the world fell victim to a pandemic, COVID 19, that required extraordinary efforts in ensuring cleanliness and sanitization. While many basic precautions such as thorough hand washing, social distancing and mask wearing helped it became obvious as the virus began to mutate and even change its method of transmission that much more was needed.

Portable UV devices were developed but they emitted harmful rays that could damage plants and required the evacuation of any area they were used in. Powerful disinfectants could be used to clean areas but usually left unpleasant odors and depended on the thoroughness of the cleaning process. As the Covid Virus has continued to mutate and resist most methods of prevention it became obvious that new technologies and methods were needed to ensure the air quality around us as well as eliminating surface contamination.

Researchers rushed to find ways to develop sanitizing devices that didn't cause as much damage as they tried to prevent and didn't make spaces inhospitable while being used. As it became more and more obvious that this virus, and potential future ones should a new wave of Covid occur, were not going to go away quickly it was understood that any ongoing sanitizing and pollution cleaning methods needed to be thorough, unobtrusive and easy to use. Nature knows best, and researchers dove into developing ways of producing and harnessing the way that Hydroxyl Radicals are released and the impact that they have on their surrounding environment.

Companies such as Australia's Bocair worked hard to develop a range of devices that could produce Hydroxyl Radicals, disperse them and do so without negatively impacting the area that they are used in. By producing and dispersing an ultra fine mist containing trillions of Hydroxyl Radicals these purification devices have been proven to remove 99.9% of Coronavirus HC0V-229E and eliminate the influenza virus in as little as 30 minutes. They also work to eliminate odors, destroy VOCs and improve and maintain air quality.

Nature and Science have combined to produce a new generation of sanitization and protection. A truly efficient, environmentally safe and harmless method is now available to maintain the safety of our surroundings, help prevent infection and contamination and promote our wellbeing.
